Thanksgiving revisited

A huge success - gluten free and all.

I so approve.

I'm happy, healthy home.

Things I was grateful for yesterday (since I missed it):

Football.
Apple salad.
ESPN.
Andrew Zimmern.
My family.

Things I am grateful for today:

Row counters. (these are cool)
Daily dog walks.
Goobie hugs.
Larry of the Picking Up the Turkey from the Hot Ovenness.
Polenta cupcakes

Knitting today:

Soft pink fluffy shawl of extreme girly joy (this one's *probably* for me).
Explosive gay porn shrug for my Lorna.
Purple dishcloth wherein I explore cables.
Happy scarf of fake fur for Aunt Dale.
(for those of you keeping score on my knitting exploration: I had to rip out the mug cozy. I think I know what I did wrong, and will retry after the purple dishcloth of cables is done. I also made a rocking cool circular gay pride rainbow dishcloth yesterday which gave me joy, and, oddly enough, makes a fabulous Frisbee for indoor Thanksgiving sport. I blame all of this knitting crap on Byrne. All of it.)
