Auntie Pooh's Place

Food, quilts, gardens, dogs. Cookbooks, romances, thrillers, and bad shark movies. This is what Auntie Pooh's are made of.

man, oh man.

I am so taking my good mood and hiding away today...

Either that or I could just inflict it on everyone, for lo, I'm happy.

So, a story from my trip:

In Rome, we walked a hundred thousand miles (at least), which yay, because I am in good shape and it was good. We go to the Vatican. The Pantheon. The Cappucin Crypt. Very fancy, gorgeous old churches of great value.

I? Walk into the church of Santa Maria in Trivio and burst into tears.

Things I'm grateful for today:

1. Scissors. No, really. Have you ever thought about how sucktastic life would be without them?
2. Coffee, specifically, this morning, Jamaican coffee with soy milk
3. Harry Connick, Jr.'s new Christmas album
4. Penzey's spices
5. I don't hurt this morning. (grins - do you have any idea how cool it is that that can be my number 5?)

I love Penzey's! Their Chinese Cinnamon is awesome. And their Spanish Rosemary. I just ordered some refills yesterday.
