Mother's day

was hectic and travelling, but...

Y'all.

I have the best kid *ever*.

She mowed. She repotted plants. She bought my petunias for my hanging baskets and cleaned up the front porch. She vacuumed. I had roses and two books waiting for me. She made me gumbo, strawberry shortcake and chocolate fondue and then, best of all, hung out in the front room all evening.
