I am extremely tired of people associating weight loss with being a *good* person
Things I can understand.
Losing weight takes effort. Losing weight takes discipline. Losing weight can make you feel better/more accepted.
Okay, sure.
But losing weight makes you a morally/ethically better human being?
Nope. Sorry. Not buying what you're selling.

All I can say is that losing half my body weight did not make me a better or happier person. People are stupid.

calorific value =/= moral value. The fact that so *many* people seem convinced that it does bugs me.
Unrelated : I hope your sister and her baby are doing well.
