Joy is...

Cowboy Christmas stockings.

Finding a pretty new dress for my anniversary supper (purple velvet, simple, dark and lovely).

Wind-up witches.

Gingerbread pancakes.

Simple stories that are all about the truth.

Pasty Cline and Gentleman Jim Reeves.

    God, I love Jim Reeves.

Jim Reeves singing Christmas songs = me reduced to a pile of happy tears, every freaking time.

Him, Johnny Horton, and Perry Como.

That is joy in Cindy land.

    Wind-up witches!

I have never had gingerbread pancakes. Seems like a lot of my comments when you blog about food are "I have never had..." I better get my butt down there sometime and HAVE some of these marvelous sounding things. LOL

Speaking of wind-up witches, did we ever thank you guys for the Halloween goodies you sent M? I think we might have all been sick at that point and I might have forgotten. So thanks!

I also love Jim Reeves and Patsy Cline but you forgot to mention Nat King Cole. He had a simply wonderful voice. And thank you for the Halloween jammies. I love them. Miss you and want some ginderbread pancakes. They are yummy.
