phrasebooks, teenagers, and Louisiana
Phrasebooks are amazing things - no, really. I love them - the idea that you can say these random, interesting, incredibly perverse things in a multiple of languages.
(Right now, I'm on Portuguese. Story research. No. Really.)
I can, however, say "put it in there" and "I think I need a bigger one" now.
My kid is cool - *nods* She left me a note this morning that made my whole day better.
And the 2 L's and I are heading to Louisiana Saturday morning for a few days.
I love my life.
:D
