man, the original Alamo Drafthouse is closing

This makes me sad. They opened when Larry and I moved here, just about, and we love it there.

They're going to reopen a venue at the Ritz theatre, but it'll never be the same.

*grins*

Hey, I've been up on that stage telling stories about exploding turkeys. I've done Buffy sing-alongs. Seen Masters and the Universe.

Gotten drunk enough that I needed help getting down that stair case.

Oh, man. Maybe the new venue will be easier on the stairs...

    I life when something closes always another one opens. So do not pine for what has closed. Simply remember with a smile and enjoy what has opened. Sage words from the Moma ;)
