Auntie Pooh's Place

Food, quilts, gardens, dogs. Cookbooks, romances, thrillers, and bad shark movies. This is what Auntie Pooh's are made of.

Oh, wait. I missed one.

That Nano-novel-in-a-month-oh-my-god-the-stress thing.

O.O

Six years now I've watched people do Nano. I've watched the stress, the tears, the drama (oh, god, the drama). Six years I've growled about people angsting and fretting and stressing over it. If you're going to write, write. If you're not, don't. This is not brain surgery. This isn't even a paying gig with a deadline.

Do it or don't, but for chrissake, quit whining. It's a gimmick to get a bunch of people to feel like they're part of a community; that's cool. But don't make it any more than that. Just go and write, huh? You know - words, paper, all that happy happy.

(this bitch is from the 'jesus, do people need to *invent* shit to whine about' part of my brain)

Not me I can find all sorts of things. Just can't seem to find enough of them worth wasting my time bitching and whining. So go Granny
