Thinking about my pappy
Man, my pappy was in my dreams last night just talking to me.
Well, singing.
Loud.
"Detour. There's a muddy road ahead!"
and
"Abilene, Abilene, prettiest town I ever seen"
and
"She's got dimples on her, but she's mine!"
Just as loud and happy as you please.
I always think of him as my amazon-baby's guardian angel. He died when I was pregnant with her and in my heart I believe that he'd have liked her. She's a lot like my mom and he thought Moma hung the moon.

Now I've got your Moma's voice in my head singing "she's got dimples on her, but she's mine". Thanks. :P

I always think of my grandfather as my guardian angel, too. He was my hero.
Fond memories are like cozy blankets.

He would have love our Amanda. As he loved you. Teased both of course. I feel him sometimes especially when I am doing something I know I shouldn't.:P
He was a great man not perfect but a great guy
