Well, the bad news is yesterday was lost to doctor appointments - kidney stone for the husband, scary evil rash from hell for the teenager.
The good news is that our family doctor is a proactive woman and, when I called in tears because they couldn't see the daughter until SEPTEMBER at the neurodermatologist? She got us in on Thursday.
Go Dr. Miller!
Looks like Daddy's coming down here for the ROT rally the same weekend that L and A are gone to east Texas for karate. This is vastly cool because I was pouting because I had to stay home with the dogs and wouldn't get to see Daddy. Now, I can stay home with the dogs, get work done and *still* see Daddy!

Not that I like the old man or anything, but I haven't seen him since March!
I ended up ordering the black elephant ears and pink pampas grass (I'm thinking it'll look *very* bordello in the front yard). I'm going to turn big eyes on Daddy and see if he has extra brick/stone/rock/something to build up a raised bed in the front near the street. I think that'll really add to the yard and reduce the amount of mowing I have to do! ;-) I also splurged and bought a black rose and another yellow rose (as my yellow rose curled up its roots and died). When L. gets here in June, I'm going to get her to help separate my mother-in-laws tongues that Uncle Mark gave me.
